This project is deeply concerned with the negative climatic impact humans have developed over the past 200 years, this is better known as the Anthropocene epoch.
As destruction continues and population increases, we could soon be experiencing detrimental impacts on our lives that involve much more than most people think. One of these impacts, if not the most important to humanity, is agriculture and this architectural concept – Farmaseed identifies that new strategies for growing food is something worth investing time into.
With the consideration of activist Jeremy Rifkin’s views on the ideology of a sustainable future along with an up-scaled concept of Daniel Nocera’s artificial leaf, this project conceptualizes a ‘farm for the future’.
